The 2016 Pittsburgh Penguins Stanley Cup parade was held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Wednesday 15 June. The parade was held seven years to the day of the 2009 parade. Ca. 400,000 people were estimated to have been in attendance, with fans arriving as early as 12 hours before the parade was due to begin.[1]
Phil Kessel was given special notice by his HBK linemates, Nick Bonino and Carl Hagelin.
Said Bonino, "I just want to say what a pleasure it was to play with the legend Phil Kesse," with Hagelin adding, "It’s a true honor. No one’s better than Phil. Phil the thrill! Woo!"[2]
