The Pittsburgh Penguins' first Fan Fest was held at the PPG Paints Arena on Sunday 9 October. The event included Q&A sessions with the team, head coach Mike Sullivan and GM Jim Rutherford, interactive demonstrations including a kids-only press conference, a cooking contest, and several hockey-related games throughout the arena.
Notable events included Sidney Crosby and Marc-Andre Fleury playing Heads Up, Fleury doing a split, Kris Letang attempting to beatbox, and Trevor Daley performing the robot. Ian Cole, Olli Maatta and Brian Dumoulin joined Chef Geoff from UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex to cook up a salmon salad in front of fans.[1]
