The 2010 Winter Olympics were held in Vancouver, Canada from 16-28 February at Canada Hockey Place and UBC Thunderbird Arena. Sidney Crosby scored the 'Golden Goal' and Canada beat USA 2-1 in overtime to win the tournament. He was an alternate captain.
Russia was eliminated from the tournament when Canada beat them 7-3 in the quarterfinals. Evgeni Malkin had one assist in the game. Crosby has no points.[1]
